Nick Chavarela

about Attorney

Nick Chavarela is the founder of Premier Lawyers, Professional Corporation. He established the law firm in 2014 rooted in his core belief that everyone deserves premier legal representation. Chavarela is a native of Los Angeles County who was raised with a strong sense of public service, as the son of career public servants. His father, an Army Vietnam veteran with a long career in Los Angeles’ court system, was instrumental in nurturing his legal aspirations. As a Latino who is fluent in Spanish, Chavarela takes pride in giving voice to the underrepresented and empowering people from all walks of life.

As a teen, he spent his summers working in the courts and found himself frustrated by unprepared, inexperienced, and apathetic attorneys, and what he perceived to be a disservice to clients that inspired him to be better.

Education

Chavarela earned a Bachelor of Arts with a double major from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles. During law school, he volunteered at a local legal center helping parents of children with disabilities advocate for their rights to a free appropriate public education, in addition to clerking with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office and large private firms.

Chavarela is an active member of several associations, including:

  • The Los Angeles County Bar Association
  • American Bar Association
  • Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles,

He proudly took the Attorney’s Oath and was sworn into the State Bar of California and the U.S. District Court in 2007.
